On the occasion of the National Day of Brunei, I would like to sincerely congratulate Your Majesty and the friendly and brotherly people of Brunei on behalf of my Nation and on my own behalf.

I believe that our ongoing friendly relations and cooperation in every field will further deepen and improve this year which also coincides with the 50^thanniversary of Your Majesty’s accession.

Our common will to diversify and intensify the relations between our brotherly countries is nurtured by the cultural values and aspirations shared by the Turkish and Bruneian peoples. In this regard, I hope that the bilateral relations between Turkey and Brunei as well as our solidarity on regional and international issues will continue to develop persistently.

I avail myself of this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Majesty’s health and happiness as well as for the well-being and prosperity of the brotherly people of Brunei and to wish Your Majesty and the people of Brunei many happy anniversaries.
